FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

INTRODUCTION

The Faculty of Foreign Languages was established under Decision No. 14 QĐ-CTHĐT-ĐHTĐ dated November 4, 2021, issued by the Rector of Tay Do University, separating it from the Faculty of Foreign Languages from the Faculty of Linguistics and Literature. Following a period of development, the Faculty of Foreign Languages (FFL) has implemented significant improvements that will contribute to Tay Do University’s long-term success.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Faculty of Foreign Languages is responsible for:

• Professional duties such as determining textbooks, generating course outlines, delivering instruction, inviting lecturers, planning classes, and evaluating the teaching and learning qualities.

-  Providing modules in Basic English and English for Special Purposes to other faculties.

• Participating in scientific research.
• Encouraging foreign volunteers to work at the school.
• Supporting and fostering the school’s international cooperation.

ACHIEVEMENTS

For many years, it has achieved the title of an advanced and excellent labor collective.

• Accredited for education quality accreditation in the English bachelor’s degree training program granted by the Director of Hanoi National University’s Center for Educational Quality Accreditation.
• Participated in many scientific research projects and published them in domestic and international journals.

ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT

• Improving training quality by increasing program flexibility and suitability for regional development needs.
• Developing efficiency and coherence between scientific research, training, and practical needs.
• Arranging a contingent of lecturers and instructors suitable for the role and position of a regional university.
• Modernizing facilities and implementing key tasks by diversifying forms of mobilization and efficient use of financial resources.
